A : → The impending enlargement of the EU-15 (now 15 members) to incorporate ten new members states, namely the Czech Republic, Cyprus, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia is due to take place on 1 May 2004. At that point all anti-dumping and anti-subsidy measures applicable to the EU-15 will apply at the EU-25 level. It is also necessary to add that, starting from 1 May 2004, all import quotas imposed by the EU in the Chinese textiles and non-textiles sectors will apply also within the new enlarged Union.
