A : → The US Federal have yet a State level regulations in this area. Following in the footsteps of the European Union, a growing number of environmentally-conscious U.S. states have enacted or are seriously considering legislative action to both establish mandatory recycling programmes for electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and regulate the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic devices (RoHS). These are California, Maine, Maryland and Washington - have implemented their own WEEE programmes and many other states. Please click here for details.
