A : → If it is required by the importing nations' customs, we deem it necessary for the China issuing authority of the Certificate of Origin Form A to verify the authenticity and correctness of proof of origin being submitted. If you can provide all the details to the issuing authority (mostly like the China Commodity Inspection Co.) for verification, we think it should take too long to get the form verified.
Q : → We are a buying office in HK. We have made over 100 shipments of electronic merchandise to Belgium over the past few years.Belgium Customs has taken the Form A's against these shipments (from China) and have sent a letter to the China Govt., asking for 'verification' that these Form A's are authentic. Unfortunately, after 8 months, they have not received a reply and are now requesting payment for the tax discount.Whom do I contact in China to have these documents verified? Is there a standard procedure for this?
